Dining at Imperial Hotel
Our talented team of award winning chefs have made Café Cru Restaurant and The Terrace at Imperial Hotel two of the most popular places to eat in Great Yarmouth on the east coast of Norfolk.
We can't wait to welcome you back to Imperial Hotel's fabulous restaurants. The Terrace and adjoining Victoria Suite restaurant is the place to enjoy stunning sea views and delicious breakfasts, lunches and afternoon tea all year round, and dinner in summer. Our fabulous chefs use top-quality, seasonal, locally sourced where possible ingredients in our varied menu of dishes. Please telephone 01493 842000 to book your table.
With 2 AA rosettes for culinary excellence, Café Cru Restaurant will re-open in autumn, serving a modern British à la carte and fixed price menu from Monday to Saturday and cracking Sunday lunches at the weekend.
COVID SECURE RULES: WHO CAN YOU SHARE A TABLE WITH?
Government Covid-19 guidelines clearly state who you can share a table with, when eating a meal or when enjoying a drink. As of 4 July 2020, this is as follows:
Outside (i.e. on The Terrace, with the roof open only)
A maximum of 6 people sharing one table where everyone may be from a different household.
Sadly, we can't guarantee good weather for the day of your reservation. Sorry, but we cannot accept bookings from more than 2 households.
Inside (i.e. on The Terrace when the roof is closed, in the Victoria Suite or when having a drink in Bar Fizz)
A maximum of 2 households sharing one table.
We are very fortunate that here at Imperial Hotel, The Terrace, with its wonderful sea views plus the adjoining, extremely spacious Victoria Suite gives us a large amount of space to ensure tables are well spread out. And we've also been able to extend our lounge bar into the Sandown Suite, so there is plenty of room for everyone to relax.
We are required to double check that you are only booking a table for a maximum of two households when you make your reservation, so please don't be offended when we ask the question over the phone or on arrival.
And as from 8 August 2020, guidelines now require that you wear a mask in public areas of the hotel, for example, on arrival in Reception, in the lounge bar, in hotel corridors when following our one way-system and if you pop to the toilet during your visit. Thank you for helping us follow the guidelines.
