We firmly believe in the importance of apprenticeships, learning your trade and working your way up. Hotel Director, Grant Smith, started out as an apprentice at Imperial Hotel many years ago now, and has worked his way through almost every single department, learning the tricks of the trade from housekeeping to accounts, reception to front of house. He's not that bad in the kitchen either! You can read his story on our blog.
Apprenticeships are a great way to learn everything you need to know about a sector, especially the hospitality industry. You achieve an industry-wide recognised qualification at the end of your apprenticeship which will stand you in good stead whatever you decide to do in the future. Apprenticeships at Imperial Hotel are always advertised via the offical channels, so do keep an eye out for our next roles. We will also annouce them on social media and on our website.
