Welcome to a new dining experience at Imperial Hotel this winter. Mix with Six. The Rule of Six applies on The Terrace by night, where up to 6 people from 6 different households can meet up for food and drink under the stars. Think après ski, bobble hats, puffa jackets, thermals and scarves - you'll be dining with the roof wide open on The Terrace, our new outdoor eating area with the sparkling night sky above your head.
The completely open-air Terrace has outdoor heating, but it's definitely a Bring Your Own Blanket opportunity! We'd strongly recommend you wrap up warm for your night out. The food will be hot, and the welcome just as warm every Friday & Saturday night when permitted.

THE LATEST COVID RULES
Further to the latest government guidelines, all our restaurants are sadly closed. Imperial Hotel will remain open for business travellers and critical workers on a continental bed & breakfast basis, but will sadly be unable to accept bookings from any other travellers whilst England is under national lockdown. We very much hope that infection levels will decrease quickly and that we'll be able to re-open Mix with Six on The Terrace on Friday & Saturday nights.

Welcome to Mix with Six, Imperial Hotel’s NEW outdoor starlight restaurant, where the Rule of 6 applies.
As long as rain isn’t forecast, The Terrace will be transformed into a starlight restaurant every Friday & Saturday evening for the foreseeable future with a littel break over Christmas). The Terrace roof will be wide open, creating a brand-new, sparkling, outside dining and drinking area under the stars here at Imperial Hotel.
Think après ski and come wrapped up warm. Bobble hats, thermals, scarves and woolly jumpers strongly recommended. The outdoor heating will be turned up high, but we'd also suggest you Bring Your Own Blanket. One per person should suffice.
Book now and look forward to sizzling hot SteakStones, our famous Fish Pie and signature Chicken & Ham pancakes. And to keep with the aprés ski theme, we're putting Raclette on the menu! We're going old school with traditional hot puddings to keep you nice and warm, think Apple Crumble, and of course, the Imperial’s famous Christmas Pudding throughout December.
Hot chocolate with whipped cream, Grant's special Mulled Wine and boozy coffees will keep the cold at bay, as you catch up with friends and family over dinner and drinks. Our full drinks menu including cocktails and gin will also be on offer, with full table service.
And throughout December, you'll also find environmentally friendly Christmas Crackers on your table - not a spot of plastic in sight, totally recyclable, tree decoration gift and a paper hat of course (but you might prefer to wear your woolly one). And for every cracker pulled we've made a donation to The Trussell Trust's foodbank appeal.

Steak & Steakstones
Steakstones (TM) are the ideal way to cook your steak 'just how you like it' but if you'd rather not, there's always a willing chef available to cook your steak to perfection in the kitchen instead. All our beef is farmed in Scotland, is well-marbled and matured for at least 28 days. Each steak is served sizzling on a Steakstone with sea salt and cracked black pepper, chips and mixed leaf salad (GF).

An après ski delight, your hot raclette grill will keep you warm and is a twist on fondu, using small pans to melt Swiss cheese and grill other ingredients. Your raclette experience will include cheese, sliced ham, chicken, chorizo, mushroom, sliced potatoes, courgette, gerkin & sliced ciabatta.
