Norwich

Norwich Castle
One of the City's most famous landmarks, Norwich Castle was built by the Normans as a Royal Palace 900 years ago. Used as a prison from the 14th century, the Castle became a museum in 1894.

Now the County's principal museum, the Castle is packed with treasures to inspire and intrigue visitors of all ages. Its outstanding collections of fine art, archaeology and natural history are of national importance and include the best collections anywhere of paintings by the Norwich School of Artists and the world's largest collection of ceramic teapots.

Chapelfield Shopping Centre
With over 90 shops, cafes and restaurants and the only House of Fraser in the region, Chapelfield is much more than just another shopping centre. It is a place to shop, a place to dine, and a place to meet. Most of all it is a place to enjoy.

Riverside Entertainment
Riverside Entertainment Centre is located on the banks of the River Wensum adjacent to Norwich City Centre. It is the hub of the Riverside Quarter which also includes Carrow Road stadium, home to Norwich City Football Club - The Canaries - a retail park, supermarket, luxury residential apartments, Norwich railway station and an indoor swimming pool. The buzzing, lively entertainment centre throbs with people enjoying the numerous bars, restaurants, nightclubs, gym and the multiplex cinema and bowling. The outdoor central piazza provides an ideal place to host an array of promotional and entertainment events and activities.

Theatre Royal
A theatre right in the heart of the city hosting some of the best shows from Norfolk and all around the country.

The Forum
The Forum is the landmark Millennium project for the East of England and is on the site of the former Central Library which was destroyed by fire in 1994. This £65 million project was funded by a £31.5 million grant from the Millennium Commission and matching support from Norfolk County Council, Norwich City Council and the business community. Having been opened to the public in November 2001, The Forum was officially opened by Her Majesty The Queen in July 2002 and now attracts over 2.5 million visitors per year
